There is a story behind this painting. When I conceived this work, it looked completely different and was vertical. As of many of my paintings it intended to be an abstraction. But in the middle of the process it turned that unexpected way, that it started to remind me one of my favourite paintings by Monet - "The Water Lily Pond ''. It was a really distant reminder, but for me it looks like an abstract pound. The concept of creating the water lily pond I have carried for a long time, so maybe that's why this transformation happened - thoughts are material. Painting is protected by professional varnish to save the surface and colors bright.
